Knee Disarticulation

Knee disarticulation is an amputation done between the bone surfaces at the knee joint. In knee disarticulation the patient retains a full-length femur and thereby, the thigh can bear some end weight. The prostheses, tailored for such conditions, fits properly and the patient can walk moderate to longer distances.
