The mediven^® vein exerciser is an active addition to passive compression therapy.

Excellent experience has been gained with the mediven^® vein exerciser in terms of therapeutic effectiveness and with regards to patient compliance. Every pack is supplied with a complete exercise programme (10 exercises).

The development of a venous disease incrases the burden on the skin. The stretched wall of the vein leaks fluids into the surrounding tissue. The urgent and increased loss of water from the surface of the skin, leads to dry, thin skin, prone to injury.

In order to enhance the success of compression therapy, two products have been developed to meet the specific requirements of a diseased leg.

mediven^® DAY compression comfort gel

Comfort during the day

The cooling, protective effect of the mediven^® DAY perfectly meets the needs of the stressed skin. The sensitivity and tension on the compressed skin are reduced, and thus the success of compression therapy is improved.

The cooling gel should be applied as part of your compression therapy with the stocking during the day: just before putting on your stocking, apply the gel to the affected area and rub in gently.

mediven^® NIGHT compression comfort cream

Comfort during the night

The specially co-ordinated mediven^® NIGHT completely meets the demands of stressed skin. During the nightly renewing phase of the skin, the cream provides all the ingredients it needs for reviving, protection and care.

The caring cream should be applied as part of your compression therapy without the stocking during the night: in the evening, after compression therapy, apply to the affected area and rub in gently.
